Filip Ambrosio, DDS grew up in Rochester, New York, and attended college at the Rochester Institute of Technology. After dental school, Dr Ambrosio continued his education at the University of Detroit Mercy by completing a master's degree and Periodontal Surgery certificate. Dr Ambrosio is board certified by the American Board of Periodontics. He is also a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the Seventh District Dental Society, and is a member of the New York State Dental Association's peer review and quality assurance council. He has multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and received the award for most downloaded publication in 2018-2019 from the journal, Clinical Advances in Periodontology.
