Hi everyone. My name is Suzanne Cano, and I am the CEO and founder of LunaLite Dental. LunaLite is an automated laser guided dental x-ray positioner. So I invented this 5 years ago, actually it came from a dream. So my dream allowed me to see this device, and I woke up drawing this device.

So now we have the LunaLite device so that we don't have to use ring holders. As an ex-dental assistant, that was one of the things that I really hated was to take dental x-rays, and I would always miss the shot. So I invented this out of a dream, as I mentioned 5 years ago, and you put it on your x-ray unit. You're going to turn it on, and you're going to go through all of the angles that we have a program to. So if you're looking to take an upper molar, it's going to allow you to program it, you're going to position the x-ray unit and you're going to see that laser light pop up, and that's going to let you know that you caught the right angle, you can take the shot.

So it's a very simple little device, you can put it on any x-ray unit head, you can also put it on the mobile devices. The nice thing about the LunaLite is that it's simple and easy to use, and you can sterilize it with alcohol. You can put plastic over it if you do put plastic over your x-ray units. The laser goes right through it for you to take your shot. It doesn't weigh anything, and it also has a non-slip back so it's not going to slide off your cone. So I'm excited to be here. Hi, my name is Shannon Carroll. I'm a dental hygienist out of North Carolina. Hi, my name is Dr. Ben Miraglia. I'm at the Greater New York Meeting 2023. I just concluded our CandidPro presentation to a standing room only crowd and basically, we were talking about our manufacturing and mechanics and monitoring to give the audience a taste of what we're all about and how we go about treating our patients. We shared with them that whole process plus a couple of nice cases that are kind of average hygiene patients that come through offices all the time with their crowded malocclusions that any office could be treating successfully. At the conclusion of that, we invited them to join us—we are here, co-sharing a booth with Philips. So, at the Philips booth with Candid representatives, we have the opportunity to talk more about our whole process and see if there's interest in offering that wonderful service to their patients. On the whole, I got here on Sunday, so it's been a nice 3 days [so far] at the Greater New York Dental Meeting. This has everything from airway to aligners. So, you have—I know it's not A to Z—but we do have it all here at Greater New York. So, whether you have an interest in airway or clear aligners, we've got it all covered. Even yesterday in the airway symposium, one of the cases I shared was a teenager that was treated with expanders and Candid aligners second in that, so you have a wonderful opportunity to help your patients who have crowded teeth and or severe malocclusions whether they're just maloccluded or in the airway space too CandidPro has a full complement of services that basically can treat any of the mild to moderate to severe malocclusions. Hi, this is Dr. Ed Goldin. Just finished my lecture here at the Greater New York Dental Meeting at the Javits Center. And I spoke today on the MolecuLock connection of the Ditron Implant. And it's an implant I've been using for a few years now had some great results. We showed some nice single tooth cases all the way to full mouth reconstructions. And the nice thing about this MolecuLock connection is how well it it really seals the abutment to the implant. We've got less than a 1-micron gap there, which really helps maintain the crestal bone and the soft tissue. And in fact, even the first case I showed today really highlights how even with a high smile line, we get great soft tissue around a single tooth implant.

I've been here in New York practicing dentistry for quite a while I'm a third generation prosthodontist. Went to Columbia for my undergraduate dental school, then to NYU for my prosthodontic residency, and then did a 2-year implant fellowship at NYU under Dennis Tarnow. So I've been practicing here in Manhattan on 41st and Lex for 22 years now, as a third generation prosthodontist practice with my father for 11 years as well. We've got a full modern practice doing digital dentistry, using intraoral scanners, we've got multiple mills and 3D printers, 2 full-time lab technicians helping us out, so we're really able to provide the highest level of care and being able to do it with Ditron is great.
