Sirona signs Steve Martin, Martin Short

Steve Martin and Martin Short have been signed by Sirona Dental Systems LLC to perform at the company's CEREC 27-1/2 Anniversary Celebration, Thursday through Saturday, Aug. 16-18, at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino, Las Vegas.

The two entertainers will perform their live show, "A Very Stupid Conversation."

"Whenever we plan a CEREC anniversary event, we raise the bar a bit higher," explained Michael Augins, Sirona Dental Systems LLC President. "This includes everything from our CE lecture program to our exhibit hall to our entertainment. We're very excited to have Steve Martin and Martin Short appear together during the CEREC 27-1/2 Anniversary Celebration."

“A Very Stupid Conversation” is a two-man show performed by two close friends who just happen to be comedy geniuses, and who also enjoy poking fun at each other. The format is an intimate and outrageous blend of interviews, one-liners, singing, banjo playing and film clips. The hour-and-a-half performance will take place on the evening of Friday, August 1.

In addition to entertainment, CEREC 27-1/2 will provide up to 18 CE credits across a comprehensive spectrum of digital dentistry topics and tracks, and feature an exhibit hall showcasing top dental companies and their products and services. The celebration also will commemorate the 20th anniversary of Schick Digital Radiography, the 10th anniversary of Sirona’s inLab® Dental Lab CAD/CAM System, and the 5th anniversary of the GALILEOS® Digital Imaging System.
