The new partnership aims to bring financial simplicity and convenience to patients seeking dental care.
Scratch Financial Inc., a fintech company that provides access to patient financing and payment solutions for healthcare providers, has announced a new partnership with Wellfit Technologies, Inc., a technology platform that makes financing, payments, and dental plans accessible to patients at practices across the country. The new partnership aims to bring financial simplicity and convenience to patients seeking dental care, according to a press release from Scratch.
Wellfit’s technology platform puts patients in control of all financial aspects of their dental care through a user-friendly app where patients can access financial services from leading providers.
Scratch offers access to a “Buy Now Pay Later” plan in the dentist’s office with financing options that have interest rates as low as 0% APR. Patients can apply for financing without affecting their credit score and get instantly approved for amounts up to $10,000.
Wellfit’s Financial Marketplace, which includes Scratch’s financing options, is currently available at hundreds of dental practices, including over 900 offices supported by Pacific Dental Services, according to the press release. Scratch and Wellfit plan to make this solution available to other dental practices, both independent and affiliated with a dental support organization (DSO), across the country beginning in late spring 2023.
"The team at Wellfit is dedicated to bringing innovative and patient-friendly solutions that increase case acceptance and access to care," said John Keatley, CEO and co-founder at Scratch. "They are a natural partner for Scratch as we work to deliver the world's simplest patient financing solutions."
"Scratch is a market leader in providing access to patient financing with products that deliver simplicity and flexibility to patients," said Fulton Collins, CEO of Wellfit. "We're excited to kick off this partnership and work together to change the way that patients pay for dental care."
