Charlotte, NC – September 26, 2008 – Pelton & Crane, a leader in premium dental operatory equipment for over 108 years introduces a premier collection of dental furniture – The Renaissance™ Collection.

The Renaissance™ Collection of dental furniture was created in close collaboration with dentists, dental assistants and hygienists to create an integrated operatory solution. A host of innovative features improve in-procedure movements, enhance access to technology and optimize storage to improve operatory ergonomics and efficiency.

Pelton & Crane has achieved a breakthrough in functionality by incorporating a range of novel features and benefits to increase operatory efficiency and reduce working strain on the dentist, assistant and hygienists. Examples include drawer systems that slide into dentist’s or assistant’s reach and purposeful, ergonomic storage of barriers (jointly developed with Kerr TotalCare). Numerous electrical, USB and air/water connections are located exactly where needed to improve in-procedure ergonomics. Soft-close drawers and doors eliminate harsh closing sounds and thus contribute to a harmonious dental practice.

This new series of premier dental furniture is especially noteworthy for its highly differentiated, beautiful aesthetics and state-of-the-art functionality. “Dentists do not only wish to provide the best possible service to patients, but they also want to do so in a relaxing, beautiful environment,” said Marcel Hohl, Product Manager at Pelton and Crane. “The new series of cabinets facilitates a spa-like dental setting by using soft, rounded surfaces, accented lighting and Pelton’s well-known reputation for quality and craftsmanship. We believe the design of the cabinet to be so unique it warrants corresponding patent application.”
