New dentists looking for a chance to network and learn from their peers should plan to attend the ADA New Dentist Committee as it hosts the 26th New Dentist Conference

June 22-24, in Washington, D.C.

The weekend will include top-notch continuing education and leadership development opportunities for new dentists, and takes place just two blocks away from the White House at the Capital Hilton in Washington, D.C.

The conference caters to the unique needs of new dentists-those who earned their dental degree  less than 10 years ago. The New Dentist Committee selected each clinical, professional and practice management course offered at this year's meeting such as emerging technologies, aesthetic and restorative dentistry, preventing practice embezzlement and increasing production. Attendees will have the opportunity to earn up to 13 hours of CE credits in courses chosen to provide tips on how to be a better dentist, a stronger leader and a more effective communicator. Attendees will also have the opportunity to earn up to two hours of CE by participating in a full-day of pre-conference programming devoted to leadership development.

The ADA 26th New Dentist Conference is presented by the ADA New Dentist Committee and funded by ADA Insurance Plans from Great-West Life, American Dental Political Action Committee, Wells Fargo Practice Finance, ADA-endorsed Members Retirement Programs from AXA Equitable, Quintessence Publishing Co., Aspen Dental, Maryland State Dental Association, Yodle Dental Marketing, ADA Business Resources and Medical Professional Liability Agency. The New Dentist Committee is comprised of dentist volunteers from each of the 17 ADA districts and is a standing committee of the ADA Board of Trustees. Serving as the voice of the new dentist, the Committee addresses issues and concerns of new dentists and develops resources to help members succeed.
