CandidPro is launching an enhanced set of clinical features to give doctors more flexibility and control over their clear aligner cases. This next generation is the direct result of feedback from providers and reflects CandidPro’s dedication to the professional community and creating a clear aligner system that is fully aligned with how dental practices work.

How this aligner software is unique

These new features complement CandidPro’s collaboration with Philips Sonicare, which will bring a fully integrated oral health care experience to clinicians. This partnership will allow clinicians to treat more patients, save more time, and drive more efficiency in orthodontic treatments, teeth whitening, and more. Clinicians will now be able to incorporate IPR, attachments, bite ramps, and customizable preferences into their treatment plans. With more treatment modalities and more control over cases, CandidPro doctors will be more equipped to serve their patients.

Lares has released the Perceptive Electric handpiece system, and the SmoothDrive 1:5 Electric Contra Angle handpiece. The Perceptive system accepts all major brand and model electric motor attachments. The SmoothDrive is a contra-angle handpiece that fits all leading electric motor brands and models. It features a small head diameter and neck width for increased visibility; a lightweight design at only 77 g; precision gear technology for smooth, quiet operation; a corrosion-resistant stainless-steel exterior; solid rod fiber optics for bright illumination; and a quad port spray for unobstructed cooling.

What sets this electric motor and handpiece apart

The Perceptive handpiece is said to feature dentistry’s first voice-controlled electric motor, which allows users to adjust settings with a simple verbal command. This system also features a large, brightly lit tablet computer touch screen that clearly displays current motor settings; 3 speed presets; a quiet 40,000-rpm brushless motor, with long-life LED lighting; and a plug-and-play setup.

CrystLCare^™ Biorestorative is a fluoride-free, easy-to-use dissolvable dental strip that is packaged in convenient single-use sleeves for the prevention and control of dental hypersensitivity.

Why this product is different

After release of its mineral components from the starch particles, CrystLCare™ Biorestorative, Fluoride-Free (a Class I Medical Device) works by forming hydroxyapatite crystals to block exposed dentin. GreenMark’s team has demonstrated the ability to load the essential enamel minerals inside the small starch particles of the product.

The NextDent LCD1 is 3D Systems’ latest addition to its industry-leading dental portfolio. The desktop printer features autocalibration, enabling a form and function geared toward clinical users. The versatile solution delivers parts with a super smooth finish, 3 times faster than what is possible with stereolithography printers. When combined with the company’s resins and new NextDent Wash & Cure for postprocessing, clinicians have an easy-to-use solution that delivers high-quality results.

The NeoDiamond X-Class line consists of 10 extra coarse diamond burs. Using 213-µ diamonds bonded to a cut-to-grit shank, 2 black bands are employed to distinguish them from their coarse grit counterparts. NeoDiamond X-Class will prove highly effective for robust procedures such as bridge and crown removal, as well as gross tooth material removal.

Futar Easy and Futar Easy Fast are silicone-based bite registration materials that are easy to apply for precise recording of occlusal relationships. Thanks to the particularly low dispensing force, it is noticeably easy to discharge from the cartridge. Both materials are flexible to process and are very easy to trim.
