It seems some people never learn. A 49-year-old Cleveland man was arrested for the 111th time while fleeing from police after stealing $52 in toothpaste from a Walgreens store, according to authorities.
Nathaniel Ferguson was charged with theft, failing to comply with a police officer's order and two traffic violations, according to reports. Police say he entered the store and hid the toothpaste under his clothes. He then exited the store, and an employee chased him through several area backyards where Ferguson left both his pants and the stolen items.
An officer then spotted Ferguson as he entered a vehicle. Police followed the car until it eventually stopped and found a crack pipe and open bottle of liquor within the car. The driver, 53-year-old Lorenzo Turner, was also arrested and charged with failing to comply with a police officer's order, drug paraphernalia possession, an open container violation and three traffic violations, according to authorities.

Police later discovered the stolen toothpaste and Ferguson's jeans in the backyard of a nearby home, according to reports.
This isn't the first time Ferguson has stolen dental products. He was previously arrested in February for stealing almost $50 in tooth whitening products from a CVS store. In this incident, he reportedly told the security guard he had nothing on him while dashing out the door. Employees recognized Ferguson from previous incidents at the store and called police.
Officers pulled over Ferguson, who gave his brother's name as identification. However, an officer recognized him due to his lengthy rap sheet. The police found two crack pipes along with the stolen whitening products. Ferguson was charged with theft, falsification, criminal trespass and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to reports. He is now banned from all CVS locations, according to a CVS employee.
Ferguson has a criminal history beginning in 1984, including charges of theft, robbery and drug possession, and allegedly has 26 aliases-some are variations of his name while others are completely made up.
