Designed to help stop the development of dental caries, this material provides relief from dentinal hypersensitivity while killing pathogenic organisms. It works to harden softened dentin to make it more resistant to acid and abrasion damage. Although the material does not stain healthy dentin or enamel, its ability to stain lesions can help with diagnostics as well as treatment.
This high-volume evacuator (HVE) attachment is designed to provide a hands-free solution for the capture of dental treatment–generated aerosols. The device attaches to a standard HVE connection and standard disposable saliva ejectors. Fabricated from an autoclavable, medical-grade material, the device contours to the patient’s lips to put the suction where it is needed without limiting the clinician’s field of view.
Designed for use with the “Guided Biofilm Therapy” protocol for caries and periodontitis prevention and maintenance, this system effectively sprays AIRFLOW® Plus powder to comfortably and efficiently remove biofilm, stains, and young calculus both supra- and subgingivally. The unit’s PIEZON® NO PAIN with PS Instrument delivers minimally invasive scaling. The unit regulates the irrigation material temperature and is activated by a wireless foot pedal.
OraCare is a revolutionary product that utilizes activated chlorine dioxide to kill pathogens. It is most commonly used for gingivitis, periodontal disease, dry mouth, in-office prerinsing, and bad breath.
The QuickPass In-Office Dental Water Test offers a simple, microbiological analysis of procedural water for dental treatment. Each QuickPass test provides an estimated heterotrophic plate count to measure compliance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention standard for safe water of no more than 500 CFU/mL. Every test comes with a consultation with the ProEdge team. A water safety specialist will help with reading results and best practices.
The Pineyro Arch Kit is reported to be the first instrument set of its kind specifically designed for implant debridement of full fixed implant restorations without the removal of the prosthesis. This kit contains 3 crescent-shaped arches: an anterior, posterior, and mesial/distal. A fourth specialty arch is used for implants prior to impressions.
Color is the foundation of the Zirc Color Method, a practice organizational system that arranges instruments in tubs that are color-coded for each procedure. These color-coded tray setups are said to keep instruments organized and accessible chairside, creating straightforward training and a simple sterilization process. The tubs also allow for easy access and organized restocking of materials. The Color Method system is designed to increase efficiency and productivity while protecting instruments from damage.
These saddle-style stools allow the clinician to sit with a wide stance and extended legs to open the hips and knees and encourage a healthy seated posture. The stools feature gel foam for soft and comfortable support as well as tilt control to customize the positioning to each individual. The small seat design allows clinicians to sit closer to the patient in a more comfortable manner.
Featuring a patent-pending, ergonomically optimal design, ErgoPrism Loupes are designed to reduce neck, back, and eye strain from practicing dentistry. The loupes feature an expanded field of view and high-quality optics, and can be set up to match clinician prescriptions. Their design eliminates any need for a declination angle, allowing clinicians to keep their neck straight while seeing the patient’s oral cavity beneath them. The loupes are available in 3.3x, 4.3x, and 5.0x magnifications.
This fluoride varnish features a patented formula designed to efficiently deliver optimized fluoride uptake, but at a lower concentration of fluoride than competitive varnishes. This lower fluoride level of 2.5% is based on research showing that fluoride uptake into enamel was statistically the same for varnishes with 2.5% fluoride concentrations and 5% fluoride concentrations. The material dries to create a nontacky barrier that is thinner than many other varnishes. The hydrophilic material also contains hypoallergenic, food-grade shellac instead of resin materials.
This glass ionomer surface sealant is designed to help protect young patients’ teeth. Capable of being placed in a moist field, the material can be used without isolation or bonding. It reportedly can be used to seal immature enamel or noncavitated lesions, and the material is self-bonding and provides a high level of fluoride release for up to 24 months after placement. Two versions are available: TRIAGE White for fully erupted teeth and TRIAGE Pink for newly erupted molars.
A chairside educational tool, this gel helps clinicians show patients the places where plaque Is accumulating on their teeth. The gel is designed to identify new, mature, and acid-producing biofilms using differing colors to indicate different biofilm types.
An easy-to-use and highly economical camera, the MouthWatch intraoral camera is designed to capture diagnostic quality images while integrating with major software applications. The camera features a fixed focal distance between 4 mm and 45 mm to allow the quick photography of more than 1 tooth if necessary.
Designed to provide a simple solution for isolation and moisture control, the Isolite 3 features integrated lighting with a standard white light, as well as an amber cure-safe light that illuminates without polymerizing resin-based composites and other light-curable materials. Fabricated with lightweight liquid metal, it is lighter and stronger than previous Isolite models. It connects directly to the dental system for easy integration into any operatory.
The Loupe Shield provides complete splatter protection while meeting the clarity, comfort, and loupe accommodation needs of dental practitioners. Its nanosurface optical visor is 10 times less reflective than a standard polyethylene terephthalate plastic visor. It features a fully supportive headpiece and has up to 3 in of adjustable frontal clearance. The shield is coated with antireflective technology, and uses refractive index matching to increase the optical transparency of the visor to 97%.
Available in a range of sizes and handle colors, these brushes are designed to help patients clean the areas between teeth where regular toothbrushes cannot reach. The wire at the center of the brush is plastic coated for safer cleaning, and the brushes can be used around dental implants and orthodontic appliances as well as natural teeth. Depending on the style of brush the brush neck can be straight, angled, or flexible to allow patients to access all areas of their dentition.
A voice-based periodontal charting solution, VoiceWorks employs a wireless headset to capture accurate input even while wearing personal protective equipment and working in a loud and busy operatory. Designed to allow a clinician to complete a periodontal chart in as little as 5 minutes, the system can connect to major dental practice management applications. The headset can adapt to understand any accent and can accept input in English, Spanish, French, or German.
Designed to help people who suffer from chronic dry mouth, the Voutia device is a patented system cleared by the United States Food and Drug Administration to provide continuous relief from xerostomia. Although most xerostomia treatments are in the form of mouthwashes, lozenges, or medications, Voutia is said to mimic natural saliva flow. The system consists of a portable unit based around a quiet, lightweight micropump, a water bottle, and an ultrafine tube that delivers the water directly to the wearer’s mouth. The portable system can be used 24 hours a day, even while sleeping, and it is designed to be unobtrusive.
XyliMelts® for dry mouth are all-natural oral adhering discs that time release 500 mg of xylitol and oral lubricant. They are for use during the day or at night to help reduce tooth decay and dry mouth. The discs stick to gums or teeth. They are said to provide long-lasting relief (all night when sleeping), freshen breath, and stimulate saliva and are useable with continuous positive airway pressure machines. The discs are available in several flavors.
Featuring an exclusive Steri-Mate 360 rotating handpiece, this ultrasonic scaling system is designed to enable easy insert manipulation, allowing for effortless rotation of the ultrasonic insert during the scaling procedure. The system’s digital operating system is designed to produce less heat and use less water than other Cavitron scaling systems to provide enhanced patient comfort.
Designed to keep instrument cords from getting in the clinician’s way during treatment, the Pivot Wristband is worn by the clinician and the cord is easily clicked into a pivoting housing to provide optimal mobility without being hindered. The system can accommodate cords and hoses between 9 mm and 17 mm in diameter. The adjustable wristband is available in several colors and can be sterilized or disinfected.
Cocofloss is a soft, textured dental floss that’s designed to be easy to use for effective interdental cleaning.
