Full-Arch Scans
& FOV:

Unlike several other units on the market, the X9 achieves true full-arch scans, including third-molar dentition and surrounding bone structure, even in adult males.

Practices initially choose between 11x8 or 11x5 cm image detectors. Variable collimation allows operators to select between various fields of view, including 11x8, 11x5, 8x8, 8x5, and 5x5 cm, to tailor scans to diagnostic needs.

Image Quality: MyRay has implemented advanced technology to deliver optimal image quality. Hyperion’s flat panel detectors provide a 16-bit dynamic range of 65,535 shades of gray.

Peak resolution modes achieve optimal resolution with a voxel size of 75µm. Volumetric acquisition is based on a full 360º scan, which is reportedly the best way to eliminate artifacts from the resulting image.

Customized Software:
Hyperion X9’s clinical software was designed as a robust and easy to use diagnostic solution. The choice of several specialty-specific interfaces provides a customized work environment to serve any practice’s imaging needs.

Added Plus:
The software comes with a pre-loaded library of implants that users can virtually place in the volume. The datasets are compatible with all third party software packages through DICOM 3.0 exporting.
