See DEXIS Imaging Suite and DEXIS Go in use [VIDEO]

DEXIS celebrated it's 15th anniversary during the ADA Annual Session in San Francisco last week by introducing the DEXIS Imaging Suite 10.0.4 at an amazing launch event at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.

The dental imaging program is said to bring progressive software architecture and new features to general dentists and specialists alike.

"DEXIS has built a reputation in providing the best in digital radiography technology for more than 15 years," said Carsten Franke, Sr. Director of Marketing for DEXIS. "We believe that this commitment to technology and to the dental community has led to highly innovative products that are truly beneficial for both practitioners and patients."

It features a cosmetic imaging module, expanded video capabilities, an enhanced implant planning module and integration with select 3D products. The program has been rewritten on a next-generation platform combining the image management capabilities of DEXIS 9 with enhancement features. Several years in the making, this restructuring is said to provide a solid base for growth and future tools and applications.

The cosmetic module permits clinicians to plan, simulate and present full cosmetic procedures and tooth whitening treatments in minutes. Powerful, easy-to-use blending, matching and sculpting tools deliver realistic results.

"We're in the business of health and happiness," said Dr. Gerald Bittner, Jr. of San Jose, Calif. "With the advent of DEXIS Imaging Suite's cosmetic tool, we can take an image and rapidly show the patient cosmetic options. The more I can show patients what's possible, the more I can deliver and make them happy."

The suite also integrates 3D scanners from i-CAT^®, Gendex^®, Instrumentarium and Soredex^®, allowing users to manage patient data and 3D images directly from within the DEXIS application.
