The Pride Institute's "Best of Class" Technology Awards represent an initiative to promote innovation in new and existing dental technology companies, providing a means through which the organization can educate those in the dental profession to use technology more effectively.

This year's honorees span a wide range of categories and uses, from the business-oriented to the clinical, such as Doxa Dental's Ceramir Crown & Bridge luting cement.

Ceramir Crown & Bridge is a bioceramic luting cement that uses Nanostructurally Integrating Bioceramics (NIB) to integrate with the natural tooth structure, while also offering stability in the mouth and exhibiting tooth-like physical and mechanical properties. The biocompatible, bioceramic material reportedly provides outstanding strength and stability with resin-cement-like retention, only with no shrinkage and virtually no post-operative sensitivity.
