Evolve Sensor intraoral dental digital imaging sensor and the PreXion3D Evolve CBCT, PAN and CEPH added to the company’s dental imaging portfolio.
PreXion, Inc. has announced a pair of significant launches to expand its already extensive dental imaging product portfolio. The company has unveiled its new Evolve Sensor intraoral dental digital imaging sensor, along with the 3-in-1 PreXion3D Evolve CBCT, PAN and CEPH, which is described as a complete dental imaging solution in a single product.
The Evolve Sensor offers high-definition images, providing clinicians with needed precision for accurate and safer diagnoses. Fully compatible with all x-ray equipment available on the market, the sensor also features user-friendly software designed to provide a smooth transition to digital imaging.
This time and cost-saving solution is not only impressive for your patients, but also helps reduce your environmental footprint, states PreXion. By switching to digital x-rays, clinicians can leave the analogical period behind, embrace the future of dental care, and elevate the standard of patient care effortlessly.
The Evolve Sensor uses a USB 2.0 cable that is easy to replace (3 meters long) and has an internal silicone protection system that makes it more resistant and robust than other products. Another plus is cost savings experienced as there is no longer a need for film and chemicals.
Clinicians not only get sharp images with digital x-rays but save valuable time. While the analog system takes about 5 minutes to capture and develop an image, with the Evolve Sensor it takes more like 5 seconds to capture high-definition images in realtime. With 25 (theoretical) line pairs and advanced image processing features, you get sharp images for the best diagnosis, according to the company.
The Evolve Sensor is based on Cesium Lodide (Csl-TL)technology, found in high-definition CT scanners—for images with high diagnostic power.
The software is designed to make image organization easy. You can register your patients, capture, and organize all the images in seconds. Also, the Evolve Sensor allows you to quickly find, access, and share images.
The software offers a wide range of user-friendly tools such as rotation, zoom, brightness, contrast and gamma adjustment, positive/negative color adjustment,high-relief, text insertion, arrows, circles, area selection and cropping, angle and segment measurement, a report/diagnostic bar, odontogram, and full-screen image comparison.
Evolve CBCT, PAN and CEPH
With impressive technology and innovative algorithms, the new Evolve CBCT, PAN and CEPH model is prepared for high flow demands and is designed to provide a complete solution in a single product. Available in 3D or upgradable 2D, this technology is said to be intelligent, precise and high-performing.
The user-friendly PreXion 2D Evolve is built to deliver high-quality images and its enhanced filters adjust images to suit the requirements of clinicians. Additionally, its multislice capability allows easy navigation through 41 panoramic slices, enabling precise visualization of desired structures. The reconstruction algorithms provide exceptional sharpness and contrast in every scan, according to PreXion.
Adding the CEPH arm to the system boosts the PreXion Evolve’s diagnostic potential for cephalometric exams. Its specialized CEPH sensor is said to create high-quality images of hard and soft tissue with equal excellence. Collimation mechanisms and rapid scanning techniques minimize x-ray exposure.
The system’s software features an innovative function that delivers a final image with greater detail and definition, especially in the region of incisors and canines, TMJ, and root canals. Add in the combination of algorithms, and it allows the reconstruction of an optimized panoramic image. The technology is designed to bring powerful diagnostic quality to the most challenging cases.
