Planmeca USA Teams Up with The MOD Institute to Offer Education

Planmeca USA has launched its partnership with The Modern Optimized Dentistry (MOD) Institute. This partnership was created as a mean to offer clinicians evidence-based education.

The MOD Institute is a relatively new organization and was founded by Wally Renne, DMD. Dr Renne founded the Institute to create a space where learning about digital dentistry and CAD/CAM was not intimidating, according to a press release from the companies. Attendees at the MOD Institute can utilize courses that will now use the CAD/CAM and imaging technology that Planmeca USA is known for.

Jody Rodney is the Vice President of Marketing and Education at Planmeca USA said in a press release that partnering up with The MOD Institute was a no-brainer.

"Partnering with the MOD Institute makes so much sense from our perspective," Rodney said in the press release. "We provide initial training and education for our customers on both of our imaging and CAD/CAM products. Then, when the clinician is ready, they can advance their skills through courses held at the MOD Institute. It reinforces our mission to deliver better care through innovation, and the MOD Institute becomes an extension of the Planmeca experience."

Classes will begin in November of this year.
