Convergent Dental, the force behind the Solea® All-Tissue Dental Laser, has inked a new distribution deal with Patterson Dental, solidifying Patterson as the sole distributor of the Solea laser in North America.
The collaboration marks an evolution in the successful partnership between Convergent and Patterson, which dates back to 2016. In a press release from the company, Robert L. Gershon, CEO of Convergent Dental, expressed excitement about elevating their business relationship to new heights. "This exclusive distribution agreement will help focus our go-to-market strategy and further optimize our partnership as we collectively drive the broad-based adoption of Solea," stated Gershon.
With Patterson's track record in propelling widespread adoption of cutting-edge technologies, the exclusive distribution agreement is poised to be a game-changer for Solea, according to Tim Rogan, President of Patterson Dental. "Patterson has a proven track record of driving widespread adoption of leading technologies like Solea. We are committed to bringing our customers the best possible practice solutions, and Solea undoubtedly aligns with that goal by empowering dentists to achieve better clinical and business outcomes," Rogan affirmed.
Solea, a 9.3-micron CO2 laser, distinguishes itself by enabling anesthesia-free, blood-free, and pain-free procedures in both hard and soft tissues. Dentists utilizing Solea can elevate their practices through enhanced efficiency, improved patient experience, heightened clinical effectiveness, and expanded procedural capabilities, per the press release.
