This new fusion bar from Panthera aims for strength, esthetics, and a patient-focused experience for optimal restoration situations.
CAD/CAM and dental appliance leader Panthera Dental is set to introduce its latest innovation, the Panthera Fusion Bar (PFB), during the LMT LabDay Chicago 2024. The new product is poised to enhance dental restorations with its unique features and patient-centric approach, according to a press release from Panthera Dental.
The PFB is designed with both strength and esthetics in mind, while also being crafted specifically to save time and energy for dental labs and clinicians. One of the key features of the PFB is its comprehensive compatibility list, allowing adaptation to more than 700 different implants. This eliminates the need for Multi-Unit Abutments, streamlining the restoration process and enhancing efficiency. The bar's design includes a rounded angle at the top, a 10° buccal chamfer, and a polished intaglio surface, ensuring an optimal seating position, eliminating pressure points, and providing enhanced hygiene benefits.
The low-profile design of the Panthera Fusion Bar eliminates the need to reduce bone, further contributing to the efficiency of the restoration process. Each implant bar is customized for the specific patient, taking into consideration soft tissues, implant position, and the dental setup, per the press release.
These bar features also benefit from overlay benefits. This allows in-lab milling of the overlay with the material of choice, whether Zirconia or printed/milled PMMA. Panthera's bar extraction proprietary technology ensures a straight milling line overlay without any undercut, facilitating lab production and bar insertion.
Gabriel Robichaud, CEO of Panthera Dental, stated, “The Panthera Fusion Bar gives unique possibilities for dental labs. As a trusted outsourcing partner, our customers expect a seamless ordering experience and a quick turnaround to confidently deliver optimal products to their patients. Using the PFB solution allows any lab to benefit from smooth in-office overlay manufacturing in the material of their choice while Panthera manufactures the implant bar.”
The Panthera Fusion Bar will be officially presented at the LMT LabDay Chicago 2024 in a film entitled "Back To The Fusion" starring Hugo Hébert and Jeffrey Dugré. Those interested can discover the product and meet the team at booth B-27 - C-26 on February 23 and 24.
