Owandy Radiology’s newest cone beam computed tomography unit has 2D, 3D, and CAD/CAM capabilities as well as touting exceptional performance and reduced size.
Owandy has announced its newest I-Max 3D Pro CBCT unit to be unveiled at the CDA Meeting in Anaheim, California. This meeting, which will take place from May 18, 2023 through May 20, 2023 at the Anaheim convention center, features a variety of speakers and showcases on all things dental technology. The new I-Max 3D Pro CBCT unit will be showcased at Owandy’s booth on the show floor, booth #1347.
It is designed with features for image quality, analysis, and clarity in mind. These features include a new generation CMOS sensor, a high resolution of 7272 μ Voxels for 3D HD volumes, an optional integrated artificial intelligence for ceph analysis, and the reduction of metal artifacts via Owandy’s AutoMAR and sensor geometric correction. Not only does the I-Max 3D Pro CBCT unit contains these features for performance, but is also physically smaller for a reduced environmental footprint, sitting at 93 lbs. It features a face-to-face patient position for enhanced patient communication. This product is designed to save money and time, according to Owandy’s General Manager, Boris Loyez.
“The newest I-Max 3D Pro delivers exceptional performance and value because it is a CBCT unit that includes 2D, 3D, and CAD/CAM capabilities,” Loyez says in a press release from the company. “Add to this face that it is also the lightest, most compact, wall-mounted unit on the market, and you have a well-rounded, everyday CBCT solution perfect for any budget or office size. The I-Max 3D Pro was designed to achieve quick ROI.”
The first 25 buyers of this device will receive $10,000 off from its regular price and clinicians are encouraged to check out this new system at CDA later this week.
