This new zirconia is engineered to blow your mind

cubeX²cubic zirconia is a new material option available from Dental Arts Laboratories. The cubeX² material combines the positive properties of zirconia, such as strength and a long-term success rate, with a stated significant increase in translucency (49 percent translucency).

This combination is engineered to make the material ideal for anterior and posterior applications, including  up to three-unit bridgework in all tooth positions.

Reportedly highly biocompatible and requiring only a feather-edge prep, cubeX² is said to be the ideal restorative material for today’s dentistry, offering the translucency of a lithium disilicate while retaining the strength of zirconia (720 MPas). The material is formulated for technicians who no longer want to choose between traditional zirconia and lithium disilicate; cubeX² zirconia is designed to do it all.
