New dental product: Biodentine 5-Pack from Septodont

Designed for use in the operatory, the Biodentine^TM 5-Pack is described as an all-in-one dentin replacement material that is bioactive and biocompatible. It can be used in the crown and root wherever dentin is damaged. Indications include restoring deep carries, pulp capping, pulpotomies, perforations, and internal/external resorptions. The dentin replacement provides higher compressive strength than dentin, similar flexure modulus, high micro-leakage resistance, cuts like dentin, requires no surface prep, sets in 10-12 minutes, contains no metal impurities and does not stain.
