Additionally, the scanner delivers an unprecedented level of simplicity. An LED ring and haptic sensory feedback guide you while you scan to make digital impression taking smoother and faster.
Why this intraoral scanner is designed to work for everyone:

The mill contains a camera that works with VPanel and DGSHAPE Cloud software, combining these features to create a sleek, sturdy, streamlined product, according to the manufacturer. The DWX-53DC is designed with lab space in mind, making it suitable for smaller spaces. It also features automatic machine calibration, automatic air pressure control, and a replaceable spindle.
What makes this mill great for any dental lab:
This dry mill from Roland DGA is optimized to fit small or large spaces. The 5-axis positioning allows high performance that can be a boon for dental labs looking to bring in new patients. Its integration with the DGSHAPE Cloud software creates a streamlined workflow suitable for any dental lab’s milling needs.
Rodin Sculpture Resin from Pac-Dent is a new 3D printing resin that touts strength and enhanced esthetics for a variety of restorative indications. It is offered in 6 Vita shades including A1, A2, A3, B1, BL3/Bleach, and C2, each formulated using the CIELab® color spectral testing method for optimal shade matching. It is designed to be fracture-resistant like traditional ceramic restorations and can be polished with traditional tools and techniques, easily fitting into any dental lab’s workflow. Rodin Sculpture resin is FDA cleared and biocompatibility certified.
Why this material is optimal for restorative indications:
Rodin Sculpture touts a high radiopacity, meaning it is easily seen in radiographs. Its high contrast in x-ray images makes it easier for dentists to view permanent restorations and to better serve patients. Rodin Sculpture resin is said to be the only printed dental material with this kind of high radiopacity, giving the dental lab using it an advantage as well as a strong marketing tool to attract new patients.
With its 4.2 upgrade of the Ceramill Mind and Ceramill Match software, Amann Girrbach is offering dentists and dental technicians new opportunities for in-house fabrication of restorations. Titanium materials can be processed in-house with the Ceramill Matik, which results in external cost savings of up to 40%, according to the manufacturer. Another feature is the innovative speed-lining mode. With the aid of specifically developed tools, users of the Ceramill Matik, Ceramill Motion 3, and Ceramill Motion 2 can “cut-grind” hard block materials at full speed. Also, the planning of dentures can now be performed directly on the implant and without abutments—regardless of whether single crowns, multipart bars and bridges, or full dental arches are involved.
VITA North America has launched 17 new shades and 5 new tooth moulds for its VITA System 3D-MASTER® denture teeth line. VITAPAN Excell is designed to offer the kind of clarity patients desire while being durable. Clinicians can now provide a fixed full-arch solution driven by flexibility with the goal of affordable, permanent teeth. Clinicians can offer staged treatment planning—removable overdentures today followed by fixed full-arch solutions tomorrow, simply by switching out the LOCATOR inserts and housings in the existing prosthesis and fabricating a new prosthesis later. LOCATOR FIXED is designed to address the challenge of tooth loss and make full-arch fixed dentistry more attainable for patients.
