New cubic zirconia material approved by the FDA

DAL DT Technologies has announced that the cubeX² Cubic Zirconia material from Dental Direkt has been granted 510k compliance from the FDA and is now commercially available.

cubeX² has been advertised as the next evolution in zirconia restorations and is indicated for single crowns and 3-unit bridges in all areas of the mouth. Using cubeX², labs can achieve desired anterior esthetics while benefiting from the strength that monolithic zirconia is known for.

The material was first unveiled at this year's LMT Lab Day Chicago. It is distributed in the Unites States by Dental Arts Laboratories (DAL DT Technologies), and is a much buzzed-about new material type.
