MOVINGLight ProMaker LD Series 3D printers integrated with new features

Prodways Group unveils new features for its range of compact MOVINGLight ProMaker LD Series 3D printers.

Prodways Group’s MOVINGLight® ProMaker LD Series 3D printers are now integrated with new features designed to increase productivity and results, including the 3D Super-Resolution and centrifuge post-processing.

The compact series of printers provide a high native resolution of 42 μm, allowing the accuracy and geometry of every part produced, according to the manufacturer. For the 2021 update of the range, Prodways Group is introducing 3D Super-Resolution in its machines, a new generation of 3D algorithms allowing a significantly improved esthetic rendering beyond the native resolution. The printing software has been enhanced to obtain surfaces close to the 3D model and significantly less pixelated without compromising productivity.

Installed for customers with very high production volumes, Prodways has taken up the challenge of continuing to improve the quality of parts while reducing production times. This new version is the result of two years of R&D to provide a solution combining machine, software intelligence, and treatment processes.

The 3D Super-Resolution technology combined with the software update is said to provide an improved surface finish while reducing manufacturing time. This technology is complemented by centrifugal post-processing, which is much more economical and environmentally friendly than isopropanol processing, according to Prodways.

Prodways Group is also innovating post-processing with the use of a centrifuge to clean clear aligners and obtain a perfect finished product. This device also improves the recycling rate of uncured resin. In addition, the centrifuge allows simultaneous treatment of up to 120 dental arches, saving significant time on this necessary cleaning step.
