Mother says dentists pulled son's teeth without consent

A California mother is irate because she says although her nine-year-old son takes part in the Big Smiles Program, she never signed the extraction consent form before her son's teeth were pulled at school. Alexander Henry had four teeth pulled as part of the Big Smiles Program that is contracted by the San Diego Unified School District. The program provides free dental care to hundreds of local children.

"I was livid," said Tina Richardson, mother of 9-year-old Alexander Henry. "I jumped out of my car. I ran back to the school. They were all, 'What's wrong? What's wrong?' I was shaking."
