The Flexsonic Swivel Air Scaler is said to offer comparable design and performance to the original for almost half the price. It reportedly provides super-efficient removal of hard calculus and stains. The scaler is designed with an ergonomic, comfortable grip as well as a quick disconnect swivel (also compatible with Star^® couplers) for improved comfort and easy removal from tubing. The Flexsonic’s tips are also compatible and interchangeable with Star^® tips.
