IRVINE, Calif. – J. Morita announced the 3D Endo Symposium continuing education event. This full-day course is tailored for endodontists on the topic of 3D/CBCT technology and will include lectures, as well as an interactive session and hands-on training.
IRVINE, Calif. – J. Morita announced the 3D Endo Symposium continuing education event. This full-day course is tailored for endodontists on the topic of 3D/CBCT technology and will include lectures, as well as an interactive session and hands-on training.
The 3D Endo Symposium will be from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Nov. 3 at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel located in Dana Point, Calif. Six units of AGD/PACE credits will be awarded. The cost is $295 per dentist.
The primary goal of this course is to teach guidelines for CBCT usage in endodontics, advanced interpretation, appearances of common pathology, software manipulation techniques, artifact reduction, and patient dose.
The morning program will include lectures from Dr. L. Stephen Buchanan, Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the post-graduate endodontic programs at USC and UCLA, and Dr. Bruno Azevedo, an Oral Maxillofacial Radiologist and Assistant Professor at Western University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine.
The afternoon session will include case presentations from a panel of endodontists who use CBCT in their practices. The user panel will include Drs. Thomas McClammy of North Scottsdale Endodontics & Implantology, and Roger Warren of Cottonwood Endodontics. Following the case presentations, the panel members will host an open discussion with attendees. Throughout the day there will be opportunities for hands-on software training.
