Ivoclar Vivadent withdraws patent suits against 3M

3M and Ivoclar Vivadent announced today that they have settled their respective lawsuits in Germany and the U.S., according to a Business Wire news release.  

The Ivoclar Vivadent suits alleged that 3M Filtek^TMcomposite dental restoratives infringed its patents. Ivoclar Vivadent voluntarily withdrew its German and U.S. patent infringement suits against 3M prompting the settlement. These actions settle a six-month lawsuit between the parties, according to the release.
