Isolite Dryfield Illuminator inventor Dr. Thomas Hirsch: "It makes every dental procedure easier, more efficient" [VIDEO]

During the ADA Annual Session last month we stopped by the Isolite booth to find out what's new with the company's Isolite Dryfield Illuminator.

"Response has been over-the-top," Kay Corbitt, Isolite representative said. "Our customers love it and many of them tell us they can't do dentistry without it."

According to Dr. Hirsch, who founded the company 10 years ago, there isn't a dental procedure that is not going to benefit from the aid of Isolite.

"It makes everything so much easier and more efficient," said Dr. Hirsch. "The newest and the greatest thing is our mouthpieces. We have so many different sizes, ranging from the pediatric size, to the very large sizes."

Dr. Hirsch described how the Isolite makes dentistry easy, particularly related to bonded-dentistry.

"It's all about moisture control and being able to control the environment that you're working in," Dr. Hirsch explained. By working in a dry, well-controlled environment, we don't get any contamination of the bonding agent."
