Instrumentarium Dental recently donated the 20,000th produced FOCUS intra-oral x-ray unit to Marquette School of Dentistry, just the latest show of support in a long-standing partnership between the company and educational institution.
“We are honored to be able to help make a difference at Marquette University School of Dentistry. Our contribution of modern X-ray technology is an opportunity to further enhance the excellent educational environment that Marquette is known for,” said North American Instrumentarium Dental Vice President Brian Broncatti. “We recognize the quality of dentistry that comes out of this great school as well as cutting edge research that will make such a positive difference in how dentistry is practiced in the future.”
The FOCUS is a high-frequency intra-oral DC unit that is said to be extremely light and easy to handle, ideal features for dentists-in-training that desire smooth, hassle-free positioning and simple operation.
“Marquette University is proud to accept Instrumentarium’s generous donation,” said Lisa Koenig BChD, DDS, MS Program Director, Oral Medicine and Oral Radiology. “We are confident that our academic community and visitors will appreciate the new unit and technology it provides for years to come.”
