Implant Direct is pleased to announce an expansion of its current CustomDirect TM Headquarters and Manufacturing and Design Facility in Thousand Oaks, California.
The company, which created the “value segment” of the implant industry in 2006, continues to experience record growth in 2014. Recognizing the needs of its associates and customers, Implant Direct will be relocating its current Calabasas operations to new space in its state-of-the-art Thousand Oaks Operations hub. This facility will include Manufacturing, Research & Development, Human Resources, Product Development, Regulatory and Accounting. With this eight mile move from Calabasas to Thousand Oaks, Implant Direct will increase the size of its manufacturing footprint.
Also in anticipation of growth, Implant Direct acquired new space in Valencia, California last year to house its Technical Sales and Customer Support teams. Implant Direct will now be expanding that environment to become its global Sales, Marketing, Education and Technical Service hub. This facility, along with the company’s world-class global education and distribution center in Las Vegas, Nevada, is focused on supporting dental practitioners in bringing the benefits of implant dentistry to their patients. The move is designed to support Implant Direct’s long-term growth plans.

Tom Stratton, President of Implant Direct, stated: “The synergies created through this move will enable us to deliver on our promise of simply smarter implant solutions with even greater agility. We are deeply committed to providing the global dental community with true value – high-quality, innovative solutions at fair prices. Our expanded 45,622 square foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing headquarters in Thousand Oaks will bring technological advancements and cost efficiency by combining our sophisticated manufacturing processes. Our milling equipment can be configured to produce a family of parts (rather than individually), meet demanding tolerances and operate in a lights-out manufacturing environment – thus achieving extraordinary efficiency and quality.”
Implant Direct’s geographic footprint also includes European headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland, Australian headquarters in Sydney, Australia, Israeli headquarters in Tel Aviv, Israel as well as European and Canadian Distribution facilities in Amersfoort, Netherlands and Richmond, British Columbia.
