During the recent KaVo Kerr Group product launch at the International Dental Show (IDS) in Cologne, Germany, we had the chance to catch up with Dr. Cynthia Brattesani, a dentist in San Francisco who is well known for her passion for the patient and technology. We asked her about what sets her practice apart from her peers in the area.

“I’ve always been about the patient experience. That’s the most important thing to me,” Dr. Brattesani said. “It’s about making them comfortable and me working fast and efficiently. That’s what working with the KaVo Kerr Group products does for my practice. As an example, I used the CariVu (from DEXIS) on a pregnant mom the other day who thought she might have a cavity. We were able to look and see that she didn’t. It was quick, efficient and brought her a huge sense of relief. That’s so important.”

If a patient thinks of leaving a practice and going somewhere else, they see my practice was a step apart from the others because they feel the difference. In San Francisco, where there are so many dentists, we try to do something special to make the patient value his or her experience in our practice.”
