Henry Schein Brand CRITERION Gets "Head-to-Toe" Personal Protective Equipment Update

Henry Schein will expand its CRITERION brand, adding new products under the name for a robust family of personal protective equipment all in one place, as well as updating its packaging for clarity.

Henry Schein’s longstanding, glove-producing brand CRITERION® has now expanded into a new arena of personal protective equipment (PPE). Per a press release from Henry Schein, CRITERION will now be manufacturing and providing PPE such as eyewear, face masks, and more. As such, CRITERION will now be the go-to brand for all of Henry Schein’s PPE, including masks, jackets, lab coats, and other PPE from their various product lines.

CRITERION aims to be cost-effective without sacrificing the quality that dental professionals need for everyday use. New packaging will better clarify sizing and color.

“We at Henry Schein are continuously working to improve the customer experience, which is why we updated the CRITERION brand to help simplify the PPE purchasing process while maintaining the quality of our products that health care professionals have come to rely on,” Mike Nelson, Vice President, Global Own Brand Strategy and Management says in the press release. “With our top-selling gloves as the foundation of the brand, we are excited to offer head-to-toe PPE products to our customers under the CRITERION name.”

Products now slated under the expanded CRITERION brand include Maxima™ masks and Maxi-Gard™ garments.
