3M ESPE’s Sof-Lex Spiral Finishing and Polishing Wheels
3M ESPE’s Sof-Lex Spiral Finishing and Polishing Wheels offer clinicians a new way to put the final natural-looking gloss on restorations. The wheels incorporate flexible spiral fingers, enabling them to conform to convex and concave surfaces as they traverse the restoration. This prevents the need to switch shapes mid-procedure to fit different contours. Additionally, the wheels have been embedded with abrasive particles that provide effective dental finishing from any side-top, bottom or edge.

New from Philips Sonicare, the Sonicare FlexCare Platinum is a customizable power toothbrush that is equipped with anchor-free tufting technology. The new InterCare Brush Head contains more bristles than traditional brush heads, which reportedly allows it to be arranged in patterns to perform specific tasks. Beyond that, the FlexCare Platinum is outfitted with a pressure sensor that gently resonates to let users know when then they are applying too much pressure.
