Digital Health Company Membersy Launches Online Marketplace for Licensed Dental Membership Plans

Membersy Marketplace will connect dental patients directly to consumers through its online exchange and subscription service.

Digital health company membersy has announced the launch of a direct-to-consumer marketplace for dental membership plans called membersy Marketplacesm. Marketplace will allow anyone with access to it the ability to shop, compare, and purchase membersy-powered membership plans from local dentists, according to a press release from the company.

This online exchange was created to expand access to quality dental care for people who have lost their employee-sponsored health insurance, gig workers, and freelancers. Membersy Marketplace will offer consumers access to more than 35 membersy-powered dental membership plans provided by Dental Service Organizations (DSOs).

"Since 2015, we've been on a mission to help DSOs do 3 things: attract, service, and retain more patients through a modern, tech-enabled membership experience," Chief Revenue Officer Michael Shuman said in the press release. "Membersy Marketplace advances these goals, serving as our first direct-to-consumer platform exclusively built for membersy DSO partners."

After receiving a $66 million investment from Spectrum Equity, membersy’s goal is to expand access to care beginning with dental through Marketplace.
