A new service platform for DEXIS CBCT and intraoral sensor devices automatically checks device health to inform support agents when its time for updates or equipment replacements.
Dental imaging leader DEXIS has announced a new proactive service platform called DEXIS™ Connect Pro that is designed to monitor device health of both CBCT and intraoral sensor devices. Harnessing the power of IoT [Internet of Things], DEXIS Connect Pro can check on device health and arrange support as needed. Incorporating this platform into the practice will enable practitioners to automatically receive both support and equipment replacements as needed, which will be a time-saver as well as boost practice productivity according to Brian Gooch, global product manager and marketing vice president at DEXIS.

Devices that are included in DEXIS Connect Pro are ORTHOPANTHOMOGRAPH™ OP 3D™ LX, i-CAT™ FLX V-Series, DEXIS Ti2 Sensor, DEXIS IXS Sensor, and DEXIS Titanium Sensor. Through DEXIS Connect Pro, these devices will be monitored and maintained by more than 100 experienced DEXIS tech support agents. The customer service aims to be a particularly appealing element, according to DEXIS Connect Pro user and dental hygienist at Omni Dental, Amber Metro-Sanchez.
