Japanese dentist Hideki Watanabe has invented a sculpted pot that will automatically stir its contents as they heat up. Watanabe came up with the design for the Kuru-Kuru Nabe (the "Round and Round Pot") while experimenting with dental plaster at his dental practice.

Japanese dentist Hideki Watanabe has invented a sculpted pot that will automatically stir its contents as they heat up. Watanabe came up with the design for the Kuru-Kuru Nabe (the "Round and Round Pot") while experimenting with dental plaster at his dental practice.

The Kuru-Kuru Nabe uses thermodynamics to create a whirlpool motion as the liquids within the pot heat up. The pot not only saves users from having to stir, but it also reportedly allows for a more efficient and even heating process.
