Clearbow’s demonstration videos debut a virtually unbreakable thermoplastic labial wire

Demonstration videos released by Clearbow show how their thermoplastic labial wires are easily prepared and adapted, and remain virtually unbreakable even in extreme conditions.

Although it’s not recommended that one attempt the stunts depicted in the first video at home, the demonstrator clearly illustrates how an adapted thermoplastic labial wire remains unaffected by resin monomers and retains its shape after being subjected to extreme conditions, including being pulled and twisted with pliers, and soaked in high-density alcohol and boiling water.

Additionally, in subsequent videos, the demonstrator shows the relative ease with which the Clearbow is prepared and adapted to a patient’s labial teeth, and even those with extreme malocclusion. 

After fitting the Clearbow to the retainer, the preparer simply applies hot air from a Steinel Ultraheat tool to shape the wire for a perfect fit.  It’s so simple, in fact, that the demonstrator fully adapts three Clearbow wires in just over five minutes.
