Kamarin Shakibkhou, of DINO, talks about the Kid’s Dental Chair with Stan Goff, Executive Editor at Dental Products Report, live from the convention floor at the California Dental Association trade show.

“It’s just for kids,” said Shakibkhou. There’s a fox model that has monitor, a light and a moving head that looks like a fox.

“The most interesting part is kids love it,” he said. “Every kid that’s walked by here is just dying to sit in it. Adults can’t stop taking pictures of it.”

The chair helps children overcome the fear of going to the dentist and they are excited to sit in the chair, Shakibkhou explained. The kids can be comfortably strapped in the chair, watch a video and be distracted while the dentist is doing the work.
