Marc Gordon has been the General Manager of Equipment and Software for Carestream Dental since January and he can’t wait to show dentists this week in Chicago how the company’s full suite of imaging products can help practices better serve their patients.

Thursday morning as this year’s Chicago Dental Society’s annual Midwinter Meeting kicked off, Gordon sat down with Dental Products Report Executive Editor Stan Goff to talk about the CS 8100 digital pan system as well as the CS 9300 system and the company’s line of intraoral cameras and software offerings.

“It’s all about imaging for us at this show,” Gordon said. “We want to make the lives of the dentists and their patients better. Our CS 8100 is a good example. It’s complex on the inside and simple on the outside.”

Carestream had a number of big product launches in 2012, but for now they want to make sure dentists know the current products they offer are suited for all types of practices.

“We’re proud of our current diverse portfolio, but we’re always looking for more innovation,” Gordon said.

Gordon said the latest in technology allows the clinicians to work more efficiently, but also “the ability to see issues sooner with 3D products allows the patients to get better care.”

Carestream Director of Global Marketing Jody Rodney added that the Chicago show is a great opportunity to meet more customers face to face.

“It’s a great opportunity to really play to what we do for customers,” she said. “We want to make the dentists’ lives easier and allow them to see more patients.”

Carestream’s Booth Nos. in Chicago are 3021 and 3217.
