BluTab water maintenance tablets are now approved to treat dental unit water that is less than 10 CFU per ml, a level said to be 50 times lower than ADA and CDC standards.

Unlike other waterline products, BluTab tablets can reportedly be used with regular tap water to produce tasteless, odorless results that have no effect on bonding.

Said to be easy to use, BluTab effervescent tablets are added to a self-contained water bottle each time it is refilled, eliminating weekly shock treatments and the need to purge waterlines at the end of the day.

Reportedly, one standard tablet treats a single 700 to 750 ml self-contained bottle, while a single two-liter tablet treats a two-liter bottle.  Additionally, practitioners can avoid mid-procedure interruptions by premixing larger bottles to top-off smaller containers between patients.  In any case, premixed BluTab tablets remain stable and effective for four weeks, reportedly twice as long as other waterline maintenance tablets.

BluTab waterline maintenance tablets are a product of ProEdge Dental Corp, a leading provider of dental water quality products and water testing services. For more information on BluTab waterline maintenance tablets and a free sample, head to www.blutab.com.
