TheraCal PT™, a biocompatible, dual-cured, resin-modified calcium silicate designed for pulpotomy treatment, has been added to BISCO’s THERA brand.

TheraCal PT acts as a barrier and protectant of the dental pulpal complex, and its unique chemical formulation reportedly promotes calcium release and resists breakdown, leading to a durable seal. It's radiopaque, which allows for easy identification and contrast from decay and other restorative materials. TheraCal is indicated for direct and indirect pulp capping and as a base.
