Though oral health education has led to fewer people over 65 with missing teeth, the 65+ age group is increasing as a result of better health care. As of 2015, there are around 2.8 to 3.6 million cases of removable partial dentures a year, with that number expected to grow within the 65+ population group by 2% a year through 2020. That means flexibles could reach 50% to 60% of the market over the next five to 10 years, according to Scott McMillen, the U.S. Sales Director of Meyerson LLC.
