AMD Lasers Announces Monet Laser Curing Light

The first handheld laser curing light for dentistry, the Monet Laser Curing Light is designed to be efficient and reliable.

Dental lasers are already used for a lengthy list of clinical applications, and now, with the launch of the Monet Laser Curing Light, AMD Lasers is expanding that list to include curing dental materials.

The laser curing light is based on diode laser technology and implements advancements in laser optics, mechanics, electronics, and modules. It can cure dental composites to a depth of 8 mm in 3 seconds and produces a consistent collimated beam with a 12 mm diameter that does not lose intensity with distance. The light also features aperture attachments to attenuate the light and provide 2 mm, 4 mm, and 6 mm beam diameters which can be used for a variety of applications.

The curing light is designed with a fully rotating head, and is cordless with easy battery changes for smooth operation throughout the day. The charging station also features a light intensity meter.
