Attendees of the American Dental Association (ADA) Annual Session in New Orleans will have the opportunity to hone their clinical skills at the ADA's Hands-on Cadaver Workshop series scheduled at Louisiana State University Health Science Center for Oct. 31-Nov. 3.
This is the second time the ADA has hosted these popular continuing education courses.
"The facility at Louisiana State University will allow participants and instructors to maximize all of the teaching tools available in a true clinical learning application,” said Dr. Alan W. Budenz, a co-presenter of this year’s “Local Anesthesia Human Cadaver Dissection Workshop."
"This is not theoretical information; it is focused on improving your daily practice of dentistry," said Dr. Budenz, who served as the clinical director for the series in 2012. "With better understanding comes greater success and comfort for both the dentist and the patient."
The ADA's Hands-on Cadaver Workshop series features seven courses.
Each three-hour course is $795 and includes snacks and shuttle transportation to and from the Louisiana State University Health Science Center.
