DENTSPLY Implants now supports intraoral scanning for ATLANTIS patient-specific abutments using an iTero scanner.

DENTSPLY Implants now supports intraoral scanning for ATLANTIS patient-specific abutments using an iTero scanner.

Intraoral scanning for ATLANTIS Abutment cases helps to improve the treatment workflow and offers process efficiency for the dental laboratory. The key to using the iTero intraoral scanner for producing ATLANTIS Abutments is the ATLANTIS IO FLO. This easy-to-use and reusable impression component is designed to allow for an accurate intraoral scan of the patient’s clinical situation. The ATLANTIS IO FLO is designed for multiple uses and can be placed in an autoclave. The scan data is then sent to DENTSPLY Implants and used to design an ATLANTIS Abutment. The ATLANTIS IO FLO is indicated for use in all indications, and compatible with all of the major implant systems.
