One of the most polarizing discussions about e-cigarettes (on this site and elsewhere) has regarded the role they play in the reduction of conventional cigarette usage. New studies featured on Medical News Today show that e-cigarettes do not reduce the use of conventional cigarettes in smokers, and that's one of the topic Turchetta discusses in the video below.
Also discussed in the video interview below is the role of flavored nioctine as well as how dental professionals should talk to their patients about e-cigarette usage. In addition, Turchetta believes dental practices should update their health history forms to include inquiring about patients using e-cigarettes.
