Ivoclar Vivadent made several product announcements at IDS 2015.
The company expanded its range of press ingots to include the new IPS e.max Press MT, monochromatic ingots of the medium-translucency range. They consist of the tried-and-tested lithium disilicate glass-ceramic material and are said to ensure clinical long-term success and flexibility during cementation. Users are said to benefit from a high-strength material (400 MPa) that ensures clinical long-term success and affords them the possibility of using a conventional cementation technique to seat IPS e.max Press restorations, depending on the indication.
Ivoclar Vivadent's IPS e.max CAD, the clinically proven lithium disilicate glass-ceramic reportedly ideally suitable for manufacturing monolithic restorations, is now compatible with CAD/CAM system KaVo Arctica. The most recent software version allows the fabrication of veneers, inlays, onlays, crowns, bridges and copings.

In addition, the company's new Programat P710 ceramic furnace incorporates a digital shade analyzer and telephone functionality. The patented Digital Shade Assistant enables users to quickly determine the exact tooth shade, and the integrated telephone capabilities allow users to discuss individual patient cases with the clinician directly at the furnace at any time.
Ivoclar Vivadent's new anterior molds, SR Vivodent S PE, are reportedly designed to meet the individual requirements of today's and tomorrow's patients. High shade intensity and PE layering are said to lend these teeth an especially vibrant appearance.
Ivoclar Vivadent also announced Tetric EvoFlow Bulk Fill, the new flowable composite that ideally complements the sculptable Tetric EvoCeram Bulk Fill. The new flowable composite is applied as a bulk-fill base in Class I and Class II restorations and can be cured in large increments of up to 4 mm while requiring only short light exposure times.
The company also featured its Monobond Etch & Prime, the world's first self-etching glass-ceramic primer that reportedly shortens the pretreatment of dental restorations. Due to its reportedly innovative blend of a new ceramic conditioner and a silane coupling agent in one liquid, Monobond Etch & Prime is said to be the only product needed to condition glass ceramics.
