Ankur Gupta, DDS, after completing a 1-year GPR in Cleveland, Ohio, started a practice from scratch in 2005. Armed with what he considered adequate knowledge, hand skills, and a personable demeanor, he watched as his practice floundered, finances became unpredictable, and his lower back and spirit toward life became worrisome. Rather than continue the trend, he made a guinea pig out of his office, family, and self, attempting any and all personal and professional “experiments” in self-improvement. More than a decade later, he enjoys enviable new patient numbers and case acceptance, a solution- oriented dental team, and, most importantly, a meaningful and positive identity. Gary Radz, DDS, FACE, is an accomplished educator sharing his knowledge of dental materials and technology for esthetic dentistry. He has published hundreds of articles and has served as chair for the AACD annual meeting.

Dr Radz’s practice, Cosmetic Dentistry of Colorado, is located in downtown Denver. His general practice focuses on cosmetic dentistry. He received his dental degree from the University of North Carolina. He is a graduate and former chief resident of both AEGD and GPR residency programs. Dr. Richard Lipscomb Jr. is a graduate of The University of Howard College of Dentistry and an international speaker with lectures specializing in restorative and mini dental implants. He has been performing restorative procedures for over 20 years and placing mini dental implants since 2006.During that time, he has overseen hundreds of MDI cases and has gained the experience to provide hands-on training for restorative and mini-implant procedures to other doctors. Dr Geissberger has practiced in Marin County (San Francisco) since 1991. He splits his time equally between his private practice and educating practicing dentists. He is an adjunct clinical professor in the Department of Preventive and Restorative Dentistry and served as the chair of the Department of Integrated Reconstructive Dental Sciences at the University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry for 15 years. He has maintained a faculty appointment continuously since 1991. Carla Cohn, DMD, is a general dentist, devoted solely to the practice of dentistry for children. She graduated from the University of Manitoba and then went on to complete a post-graduate internship in Paediatric Dentistry. She founded and maintains a private practice at Kids Sleep Dentistry Winnipeg and Kids Dental in Winnipeg, Canada. Dr Cohn is a partner, with surgical privileges at Western Surgery Centre, a private surgical clinic. Dr Arthur (Tony) Tomaro is a recognized academician and clinician, an accomplished author, and lectures nationally and internationally. His lectures emphasize the same concepts he practices: comprehensive dental health exams, diagnosis, and treatment plans; conservative esthetic dentistry and materials; smile design; evaluation, diagnosis, and restoration of worn dentition; financial success (learned skills growing up in a family business). Dr Tomaro received his DDS in 1980 from The University of Michigan and previously his BS and MS in Biology/Histology there. He enjoyed 26 years of private practice in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He then relocated to Las Vegas to become the Director of Clinics at the Las Vegas Institute and opened a private practice there in 2008. He presently enjoys providing dental care in Chicago at University Dental Professionals.
