	Henry Schein, Inc., through its Henry Schein One joint venture, announced that it has acquired Lighthouse 360, a provider of easy-to-use dental practice management and patient communication software that complements Henry Schein One's strategy to deliver integrated technology platforms that help dental teams become more productive and improve each stage of the patient experience.

	Founded in 2006, Lighthouse 360 was previously a part of Web.com and had 2018 sales of approximately $50 million. Henry Schein expects that Lighthouse 360 will be neutral to the company's 2019 earnings per diluted share and accretive thereafter. Financial terms were not disclosed.

	Henry Schein One is a joint venture between Henry Schein, Inc. and Internet Brands that delivers integrated technology to enhance dental practice management. As the latest addition to Henry Schein One's portfolio, Lighthouse 360 furthers the company's mission to tightly integrate best-of-breed solutions into one technology system to help dental practices run more efficiently.

	Henry Schein One announced today that it has acquired Kopfwerk, the leading dental practice management solutions company in Vienna, Austria. Kopfwerk is a full-service software company that delivers state-of-the-art practice management solutions, along with technical support, training, and installation, to boost office productivity, automate clinical and office processes, and enhance patient care.

	Founded in 1987 by Peter Schiller and Thomas Gessl, Kopfwerk had 2018 revenues of approximately $2.2 million. Henry Schein expects this transaction to be neutral to its 2019 earnings per share and to be accretive thereafter. Additional financial details and terms were not disclosed.

	Henry Schein, Inc.  and CareCredit, a Synchrony solution and  leading provider of patient financing, announced the integration of CareCredit's financing tool into Henry Schein's dental practice management software solutions on December 17th. The integration offers dental practices more financing options for their patients, while improving practice efficiency.

	The donation will support the specialized care and treatments the school provides to each student.

	Henry Schein, Inc., one of the world's largest providers of health care products and services to office-based dental, animal health and medical practitioners, announced it has entered into an agreement to acquire a majority ownership interest in Dental Cremer S.A., a distributor of dental supplies and equipment in Brazil.

 is the dental distribution business of Cremer S.A. With 2015 sales of approximately $70 million, Dental Cremer serves approximately 60,000 dental practitioners across Brazil and has approximately 530 team members. 

	Henry Schein expects the transaction to be neutral to its 2016 earnings per share and accretive to its 2017 earnings per share by $0.01-$0.02. Completion of the transaction is subject to regulatory approval and other conditions and is expected to close in the first half of 2016.

Henry Schein, Inc. unveiled the Henry Schein ConnectDental® Pavilion, which reportedly brings together for the first time the industry's broadest array of open solutions designed to help any practice or laboratory enter the digital age, at the Greater New York Dental (GNYDM) Meeting.

	Henry Schein, Inc., one of the world's largest providers of health care products and services to office-based dental, animal health and medical practitioners, joined the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity's (AO) Seattle chapter in recognizing 25 area oral health professionals for their participation in a program that provides free dental care to Holocaust survivors in need.

Alpha Omega-Henry Schein Cares Holocaust Survivors Oral Health Program

 was launched last November in response to the White House's call to action to help Holocaust survivors age with dignity and respect. To date, the program has provided oral care to more than 130 economically vulnerable Holocaust survivors across North America. In Seattle, dental practitioners have treated eight survivors and are currently treating six more.

	The participating dentists were honored Nov. 2 at a reception held at Seattle's Holocaust Center for Humanity. Seattle Mayor Edward B. Murray issued a proclamation declaring Nov. 2, 2015, "Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity Day."

	"Henry Schein proudly joins the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity in recognizing these practitioners for their generosity and commitment to helping health happen for this most deserving population," said 

 "Holocaust survivors have lived through unspeakable trauma and overcome incredible challenges, and it is incumbent upon the private and public sectors to ensure that this population never wants for access to essential health services."

	The three-year initiative provides care to people identified by the network of Jewish Family and Children's Service agencies or other identified partner organizations, as well as people of any faith who were victims of Nazi persecution and meet the program's other eligibility requirements. In addition to financial need, patient participation is prioritized by three critical factors: the elimination of pain, restoration of function and lack of dental coverage. Participating clinicians determine each patient's scope of care.

	"We have a good group of volunteer dentists in Seattle who have been very active in treating Holocaust survivors, at no cost," said Dr. Kal Klass, AO Seattle chapter ambassador. "These dentists volunteer strictly out of the goodness of their hearts for no recognition. And, most importantly, they enjoy doing it."

	Honored at the event were: Dr. Kal Klass, Dr. Yonatan Ahdut, Dr. Paul Amato, Dr. Rebecca Bockow, Dr. Bobby Cohanim, Dr. Irving Cohen, Dr. Gary Feldman, Dr. Robert Gelb, Dr. David Isenberg, Dr. Jeff Janison, Dr.Jeff Kanter, Dr. Wally Kegel, Dr. Paul Lederman, Dr. Warren Libman, Dr. Bella Makagon, Dr. Matthew Mandel, Dr. Donna Massoth, Dr. Arnold Reich, Dr. Oleg Shvartsur, Dr. Alexander Shor, Dr. Michael Spektor, Dr. Wendy Shultz Spektor, Dr. Daniel Tremblay, Dr. Marilyn Weiss and Dr. Jake Weissman.

	This program reportedly fills a critical need for many of the 120,000 Holocaust survivors living in the United States-one quarter of whom live in poverty. Survivors often have special oral health needs, as many suffered from prolonged nutritional deprivation and had little to no dental care access as children during World War II. Originally launched in nine cities (New York City, the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area, Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, Detroit, Seattle, Montreal and Toronto) the program has since expanded to Atlanta, Columbus and Calgary.

	"On behalf of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity family around the globe, I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude and profound sense of pride to our Seattle members who have demonstrated the highest degree of 'tikun olam'-healing the world-by providing Holocaust Survivors with pro bono oral health care and treatment," said Dr. Avi Wurman, DDS, program cochair and AO immediate past international president. "Our Seattle dentists have exemplified the Alpha Omega ideals in a most meaningful way." 

	The program has received generous financial support from The Claire Friedlander Family Foundation and the Curt C. & Else Silberman Foundation.
