3DISC launches intraoral scanner

3DISC announced the upcoming launch of Heron^TM IOS, a new intraoral 3D scanner. The handheld scanner is said to challenge the market with its simplicity and ease of use. It is comprised of a small, lightweight hand and mouth piece, and reportedly offers premium features such as color capture, shade-matching and a built-in heater to prevent fogging.

Flexible: With output format STL and PLY, the Heron IOS is compatible with most dental CAD systems, ensuring maximum flexibility for lab integration.
